loculSpend
loculSpend is our model of national spend propensity, created by blending data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ National Accounts, Retail Trade, and Household Expenditure publications.
The model is purpose-built to differentiate between the retail value of different customer segments and provides a national view of demand that can be used without restrictions and without the high price point typically demanded for banking data.
loculSpend comprises 13 broad retail categories with an additional 58 fine product and service retail categories. There are also 8 non-retail broad categories including household maintenance, debt servicing, and holidays, with a further 25 fine product and service non-retail categories. In total, these 21 broad categories broken down into 83 fine product and service categories provide a high level of detail for understanding the needs and motivations of customers.
